Catalyst

On November 1, 2023, I found myself in an all-too-familiar situation: I was laid off from my job, the second time in just five years. That first day was rough, filled with a whirlwind of emotions. My incredible husband and children were a pillar of support, helping me navigate through the initial shock and uncertainty.

As the days passed, I sought solace and wisdom in the words of great thinkers. Every day, I listened to insightful videos from Earl Nightingale, James Allen, and Napoleon Hill. Their teachings provided me with a sense of purpose and direction, reminding me that every setback is an opportunity for a comeback.

A month after the layoff, my family and I decided to take a much-needed vacation. This time away was a blessing. Spending quality time with my kids, watching them play and explore the world with boundless curiosity, sparked a new idea within me. I realized how much I wanted to create something meaningful, something that could inspire and educate children just like my own.

When we returned I was brimming with inspiration and decided to channel my newfound passion into writing children's books. It all started in my local coffee shop, where I would sit with a warm cup of coffee and let my creativity flow onto the pages.

Each story I crafted was inspired by the lessons I’ve shared with my kids, aiming to impart important life lessons in a fun and engaging way. What started as a way to cope with a challenging situation quickly turned into a fulfilling new chapter of my life.

Looking back, being laid off was a turning point, not an end. It pushed me to explore a hidden passion and to create something beautiful and lasting. Life's challenges often come with hidden blessings, and this experience has taught me to embrace uncertainty with an open heart and a creative mind.

As I continue this journey, I am excited to share my stories with the world, hoping they will inspire and teach children the important values I've come to cherish. Stay tuned for updates on my upcoming books and events—I can't wait to share them with you all!
