Journey to the City of Dreams

Exciting news! The illustrations for "Journey to the City of Dreams" are nearly complete, and I'm thrilled to share that the next step is formatting the book. This marks a significant milestone in my journey towards self-publishing my first book, and I can hardly contain my excitement!

While I'm eagerly awaiting news from the publisher about "The Friendship Bench," this self-publishing venture has been an exhilarating experience. Having total control over the illustrations, design, and formatting has opened up a world of creative possibilities and allowed me to bring my vision to life.

As I approach the final stages of this project, I find myself at a crossroads. Should I launch a Kickstarter campaign or proceed directly to publishing through Ingram Spark? Both options have their merits, and I'm weighing them carefully.

A Kickstarter campaign could offer several advantages:

1. Building anticipation: It could create buzz around the book before its release.

2. Funding: It might help cover initial production costs.

3. Community engagement: It could foster a sense of involvement among potential readers.

On the other hand, publishing directly through Ingram Spark would allow for:

1. Quicker release: The book could hit the market sooner.

2. Wider distribution: Ingram Spark offers extensive reach to various retailers.

3. More control: I'd have full autonomy over the publishing process.

Stay tuned for more updates as "Journey to the City of Dreams" moves closer to reality. Like a paper plane carrying dreams aloft, this book is ready to take flight!
